As of June 1st, 2020 we are following all guidelines set by the state and CDC. This means we will be wearing masks and asking clients to wear a mask as well (we have some here at the clinic if you don’t have one). We will also be taking temperatures with a no touch thermometer and asking the following questions.
Have you had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100 or above? Do you now, or have you recently had, any respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat, or shortness of breath?Have you been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has coronavirus-type symptoms?
If any of these answers are a yes we will have to reschedule for at least 2 weeks out.
We have added more time between appointments to help minimize contact between clients and allow us to do a deep clean of the room.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
We offer a variety of massage and bodywork techniques in a calm and inviting environment. Being located inside of Thompson Chiropractic in Delano allows us to offer you chiropractic and acupuncture services as well; which combined with massage, will add to the positive effect and to your well-being.
You’ll enjoy benefits such as: Relief from back and neck pain, reduced stress, increased circulation and improved range of motion.

Benefits of Massage: Massage is generally considered part of complementary and alternative medicine. It’s increasingly being offered along with standard treatment for a wide range of medical conditions and situations.
Studies of the benefits of massage demonstrate that it is an effective treatment for reducing stress, pain and muscle tension.
While more research is needed to confirm the benefits of massage, some studies have found massage may also be helpful for:
- Anxiety
- Digestive disorders
- Fibromyalgia
- Headaches
- Insomnia related to stress
- Myofascial pain syndrome
- Paresthesias and nerve pain
- Soft tissue strains or injuries
- Sports injuries
- Temporomandibular joint pain
Beyond the benefits for specific conditions or diseases, some people enjoy massage because it often involves caring, comfort, a sense of empowerment and creating deep connections with their massage therapist.
Despite its benefits, massage isn’t meant as a replacement for regular medical care. Let your doctor know you’re trying massage and be sure to follow any standard treatment plans you have.
